Taken during a break in filming the Oasis Wonderwall video during September 1995.

“Noel & Liam Gallagher 30th September 1995 on the set of Wonderwall which was shot at Unit 217B in Woolwich, London. Both the sparse set and the area around the studio were great for shooting stills. Mostly I shot images to mirror the filmed video, but while the sets were being changed, I took Noel and Liam aside for quick portraits like this one which was shot behind ‘flats’ lit by two vintage film lights. That the brothers can be instantly recognised from their profiles in silhouette says much about how well known their faces became in very a short time.”
